Food matters because if we didn't eat we would die. Food is very important, and it is essential for everyone. Certain foods can give you diseases, and stomach viruses. Eating lots of fast foods, can cause death. So therefore certain foods can be the death of people.  

Food, is very important in the human society. We need food to survive and to give us energy. However today people are not eating correctly. People are not eating healthy, especially in school. Food matters a lot, but it matters even more if you eat healthy. Eating healthy will help you live up to 10 years longer.

Why does food matter?

   Food matter to the daily lives of our people because people need to consume food everyday to have the necessary energy to make the whole world function into a great society. If the food is not fresh or contains materials that are bad for people’s health then the continuous days of eating fast food would cost the government a lot of money to put under victims who suffer food disorders. Also, children who is in their learning stage of life (3 years old or older) are influenced by their parents who might have bad eating habits that might pass on this trait to the later generations. When these bad habits are passed down to generations and generations, the care for the type of food they’re eating will turned into satisfying the taste of the food without looking at the healthy contents that the food they’re eating contains. If we do care about our life span we need to first look at the freshness and healthiness of the food. The lack of our knowledge in food make the health rate and the death rate of the whole world would increase.   

Why does food matter? Well, It’s pretty obvious why we need it, to live. If we don’t have any food, how are we going to survive? We need food to nourish our bones. Restore dead cells on and in our body. To keep us alive. That’s why food matters. But different types of food? There’s the problem. So, fast foods really don’t matter because you’re just going to eat it for you enjoyment. It’s not going to help you in anyway possible. It may fill you up but it’s just going to shorten your life span and break the hearts of your family members. With healthy foods, that’s a different story. Although some vegetables and fruits don’t tingle the taste buds like a Big Mac would, but it’s going to help you in the long run. It’s going to make you healthier and when you get older you won’t regret anything you ate that was healthy. So that’s why food matters. If food didn't matter, we wouldn't be here now and you wouldn't be here reading this.

 

1. Food matters because it factors into what we eat to live but if we eat healthy then we can live long and enjoy our life.

2.Well food plays in my life is that food fuel me to do what I do. For the community is that food powers the community to continue what they do each everyday.

3.Well food plays a role of fueling our brains to focus on studying instead of feeling hungry all day.

4.Well we can change stuff like eating healthy, instead of buying food from manufacture we can just make them ourselves, and we can do health programs to provide people information.

Why does food matter?
Food is happiness. We revolve around food. Because food is my only solution when I am confused. I am sadly confused most of the time of my days. Why would you not eat? 

Food food food! Food matters in life! The food will help me do something such as doing work. With out food in the world, I will die. I will eat different culture of food. When I am stressed, I will eat because i will be happy. 

Food matters because it gives us nutrients that we need to grow and function. If we do not have food we will not be able to grow. Food brings people joy and happiness, and it can change your mood. Also, it can make you sick. 

Food matters because it helps people survive. people need the nutrients and benefits that food provides. We all need the proper supplements from the food that we eat to live and not starve. It provides us with sugars to give us energy, as well as other goodness. Because YOLO

Food matters because we need it to live. We eat it all the time. People eat it when they're bored, hungry (obviously), and when they get upset. Plus it will always be there for you. 

Food place a big part of our lives. With out food we wont be albe to survide. We need food for energy need food to be albe to focures and other.

Hay una familia en el parque de Filadelfia. Hay tres hermanos. La familia tiene no casa. La familia tiene una ardilla. Es una ardilla no inteligente. la ardilla es my importante. La ardilla tiene un secreto. La ardilla embarazada. La ardilla llora. La ardilla le dice al un hermano, "Mamacocha no visitar esto mes. Mamacocha va a destruir mi persona." Hay un problema. Es un problema grande. La ardilla le dice todos hermanos, "¿Sube el arbor más alta encontrar el papá de mi bebe?" La familia sube el arbor con la ardilla. 

Hay una familia en la ciudad de Japón. Hay un papá, una mamá, un hijo, y una hija. La familia tiene una apartamento muy grande. La familia tiene una pollo. Es una pollo grande. La pollo es muy importante. La pollo tiene un secreto. La pollo está triste. La pollo llora. La pollo le dice al papá “El mar, mamacocha, no está contento. Mamacocha va a destruir el mundo.” 

Hay una familia en el baño de Filadelfia. Hay un papá y una mamá. La familia tiene un gato que se llama Kelly. Kelly es muy importante porque Kelly tiene un secreto. Kelly tiene un diamante grande pero esposo de Kelly tiene. Él esposo de Kelly murió en un accidente de carro. ¿Dónde esta el diamante? El diamante esta en el inodoro, Macholo. ¿Cómo ellos va a coger lo? 

 Hay una familia en la playa de Puerto Rico.  Hay un papá, una mamá, un hijo y una hija. La familia tiene una casa grande.  La familia tiene un conejo.  Es un conejo pequeño.  El conejo es muy importante.  El conejo tiene un secreto.  El conejo está triste. El conejo llora.  El conejo le dice al papá, “El mar, Mamacocha, no está contento. Mamacocha va a destruir el Caribean.  Hay un problema.  Es problema grande. 

 

El conejo le dice al papá, “Ve al centro con tu familia.”  El conejo camina hacia el centro con su familia.   El centro se llama San Juan.

 

 

Hay una familia de tomates en un parque de Chile. Hay un papá, una mamá, un hijo, y dos hijas. La familia tiene una casa pequeña. La familia tiene una puma. Es una puma grande. La puma es muy importante. ¡La puma tiene un secreto y problema, a la puma le encantan los tomates!

 

La puma le dice al mamá, “Tengo un secreto. Me encanta tu familia, mucho, pero…tengo que comer los.” 

Self-Small Portrait

When I first found out that we had to draw a self-portrait, I was nervous and shocked because that’s my main weakness and I don’t draw people a lot. I cannot draw people for anything especially myself because it’s something about it that I cannot get. When I did it though, it was hard but it wasn’t as hard that I thought it was going to be.

The way I started it was first, I found an angle that I was going to draw myself, and then, I started with the shape of my head. After that, I drew my eyes, nose, and mouth, and then did my hair. The last thing I did was draw in where my earrings would go and my neck.

The hardest part of this assignment was drawing the eyes, nose, and mouth because the eyes weren’t looking like mine and they weren’t realistic. The nose was okay but it was hard trying to get it the right size and to get it straight. The lips were also hard to get it to the right size and it was difficult getting the lips in the right part. The main difficulty with these features was lining them up right.

Color Wheel

I was excited when I found out that we had to a color wheel as an assignment because I love mixing colors and you could make your color wheel any kind of way. There wasn’t a specific way you had to do it; you were free to be creative with your color wheel. Also making a color wheel was easy to make because all you had to do was make different colors out of the primary colors.

I first choose the way I was going to do my color wheel, which was the basic circle, and then I drew the circle and split the circle into 12 parts. Second, I choose my paint and colored in the parts where the primary colors where suppose to go. After that, I mixed the colors and painted the rest of the parts.

The hardest part of the assignment was dividing the circle into 12 even pieces. No matter how many times that I tried to divide it, it wasn’t coming out straight. 

Texture

I was confused when I first out that we had to do texture because I didn’t know what it meant. The only type of texture I knew is how something felt so I didn’t know how to draw texture. After the assignment have been explained I understood it more and thought that it was going to be easy.

When I did the snake first I, drew the outline of the body, then I marked with the head is on the snake and drew the scales and eye on the head. After that, I drew horizontal lines on the body of the snake then drew vertical line on certain areas of the snake that intersect the horizontal lines making the body of the snake look something like bricks. Finally I drew the scales and shaded some part of the bottom of the snake. The way I drew the hair is by first drawing the head and then the hair. Afterwards, I shaded in the dark and light parts of the hair. Finally, when I drew the water, first I drew the swan and then drew curve lines in front of the swan to make look like the water is moving. Next, I drew waves throughout the paper and smudged the pencil in a little to make it more realistic.

​2 Point Perspective

I have never heard of two-point perspective until it was assigned to me. When I heard it, I thought that it was going to be hard because I didn’t know how to draw in two-point perspective. After looking at the assignment and how to do it, I saw that it was going to be easy.

The way I did the first picture (22^nd & Arch) it that first I looked at how it was suppose to look, then I drew my horizon line and vanishing point. After that, I drew the buildings, street, and sidewalk. Then I put in the little details that I saw and did some shading where it was needed. For the second picture, first I drew my horizon line and vanishing points at the end of the line. Then, I spaced off where each letter in my nickname will be. After that I drew the letters and shaded the inside of the letters.

The hardest part of this assignment, would be trying to get the lines in the right places and at the right direction. This was hard for me because the lines would look really different then what it was suppose to be.

Shade

To me shading is easy and simple to me, so when I heard that we had to do an assignment that had something to do with shading, I was okay with it. When drawing something, I feel as though shading comes with the package because to make it more realistic, you would shade certain parts.

The way I started this assignment is that first I drew the square and then put in the circles where they was needed. After that, I shaded the parts that needed to be shaded by looking at the website that was given. The final thing I did was smudge in some parts to make it look right. I had to use different pencils then regular ones because the shading wouldn't come out like it was suppose to. So I used thicker pencils.

Also I tried to focus on photography this quarter because I wanted to see how well I could create things so I also spent a lot of time outside of art class creating and editing photos. Below are my top 5 favorite photos. All of these I played around on Photoshop also and tried to enhance them in anyway that would look appealing.
