Slide Merrik Saunders

For my slide first I changed the size of my name.  It is all about me so I wanted me to be bigger.  Next I made my title one line to just under line my name.  The three pictures I made bigger and made the to on the end bleed off the end.  I also made them bigger so you can see them better.  For the swords I made them a little smaller and in the corners to be a crest.

I used rule of the thirds in my second slide. I decided to make the words big and have my picture bleed of the slide. I used a mask to make the edges less hard. The contrast of the black on the light blue word was great contrast.I made my face the main point of the slide.

What Makes A Guy An Eye Candy?

The attraction between a male ad female seems to always be a question well answered. However, I decided to focus on what actually makes a female attracted to a male. Is there an actual scientific reasoning behind it or is off of self judgment.  Could it be the way a male walks, or presents himself that makes a female attracted to him.

sagittarius-tyson-beckford
sagittarius-tyson-beckford

Through a study found from the book "human physique and sexual attractiveness in men and women" I had found that women like men who are tall, who have slightly narrow waist and broad shoulders. Men who are athletic and have well toned muscles are more preferred because it symbolizes they are more likely to be a good hunter, which could mean they could provide for their family. With males being big and strong they can protect the family from other males and danger. Women are also attracted to male that are successful because it shows that males have the ability and resources to be able to provide for the family

In conclusion, just like males, females are cautious about the male they choose to mate with because women believe that men have the most valuable reproductive resources to offer. Men produce thousands of sperm while women only produce about 400 eggs in their lifetime. The time of pregnancy and child bearing are long process which puts more pressure on what women find attractive about guys. They find the security and long relationship to be attributes that make the guy more attractive. In other words a women finds a man that can provide for them, will stay there for a long period of time, and will be able to protect them. Kind of the same things we need in society today to survive.

my slide

My old slide: My name, both in English and in Chinese are on the slide. I made the font really big. I think black and white are the most simple and out-stand color, so the background is white and the letters are black. The image of me is pointing at my names. Shadows and reflections can make the images and letters really cool, so I did them. My Chinese name has 3 characters, but my English name has two letters, so I put a little heart between my first and last English name.

I think my old picture is not so bright, so I edited my picture so it looks brighter now. I noticed that my fonts and images are not so clear. I think it's because the effects make them not so clear, so I deleted all of the effects. The look pretty clear now.

Dakota Foster - Hull Presentation Zen Slide

I changed what I changed because I considered the things they told us on Presentation Zen. Then, I applied it toward my slide. I used the rules of thirds. First, I moved all the pictures to one side and all the words. Another thing is that I moved all the words to one side. I also made the words bigger so, they would stand out.

Next, I used bright colors on a black background for contrast. Also, I took the colors from the pictures, like the color of my hoodie or the color of one of the sheep. Then, I used those colors for the font color. I made the pictures bleed off of the slide so, it doesn't seem clutter.

Lastly, I aplahed the back of the pictures, so you won't get distracted by the background. So, you would only see the faces of the people. Then, I made them smaller and put them together and overlapped them, like a collage.

My Changed Keynote

I made some changes to my keynote slide. I deleted a few of my elements and moved some things around. Before, I had way too many elements and it would not be easy for the eye to see and enjoy because there was way to much to comprehend all at once.

I made a lot of my pictures bleed off of the sides. Also, I over- lapped alot of my pictures. I guess you call call it a collage. I made some contrast with some of my pictures. I made contrast also with the black background and all the colors from the picture.

Jalen Smith New Slideshow

For the old slide I felt as if everything wasn't big enough and the words needed to be much bigger so that people can see it. For the car, the car had full contrast but the road was hard to see. So I chose to change the road so that people can see the road. I also chose to make the picture bleed off of the page because the old picture I thought was to dull.

In the new slide I thought that the picture was great because it has great contrast. The poem goes along with the slide show and the frases goes very well with the slide show. I felt as if this was a very good slideshow and I am satisfied with it.

Slide Shuman

Well, In my first slide I used Alpha, big text, and minimum use of contrast. But i had alot of empty space even though you can, but it didn't make the slide worth remembering. The text wasn't big enough but the quotes were very strong, and the colors were very interesting. My first slide i used alpha but didn't use it very well.

My second slide I used alpha to put my words on my picture so they can stand out. Also i used make type big so my audeince can get more of a better meaning of what picture meant, I added a title the is very large and has much contrast. Also contrast rule because I use one color and change the main meaning of what I was trying to say in another color. The other  rule i used was  empty space to leave audience guessing wanting more, its not much food but there is a lot of substance.

Old and the new slide

My first attempt was not very good. I had some spacing issues and I spent most of the time fixing it. Then when it was fixed it looked too perfectly spaced. In the better one I used better spacing so that it looks nicer and you are more likely to remember it.

Also I didn't like the layout so I decided to revamp the entire look of it. I moved the picture over to the side so that it was by itself. Then I moved the words over to the right.

I still kept many of the same things though. Like I still used the contrast from black red and white. Also I used the same background which bleeds over. I still used all the words and images but I just changed the color and font size of them.

For some reason it won't let me upload the second fixed picture

Life In a Slide

Poeng_Hull_KEY_Slide

In the first slide that was created, there was a lack of priority. The first slide had three different points and according to presentation zen: One slide, One point. All my wording was disorganized.

In my new slide, i decided to incorporate the rule of the thirds. By Placing all the words on the one side and all my pictures on the other side. Also, i added some more contrast and prioritized what the slide was about. Making my picture bigger has done this. Also, some bleeding was done.

Changes of My SLIDE!!!

There were many things wrong with my slide. The background in my picture was awful and the words was too small. So I decided to change my slide to make a lot more better. To help me change it, I used the information giving to me from my classmates and teacher and from presentation zen.

So I had used alpha to take out the background from the picture because it was distracting from what was important it. I put a frame around the picture to make it look a little better. Then I made the text bigger because in presentation zen it says don't be afraid to make the words big. I made "never" green to make it contrast with the other colors.  And I put the heart on the picture because its showing that the two friends love each other.

New and Old Slides

For the first slide, I was afraid to make things to close to each other or making the texts big. After I took another glance at the "Presentation Zen" website, I then realized that it was okay to make things big and close to each other. I also learned how to use the rule of the thirds, something that I didn't know how to use before. I focused on the rule of the thirds in my new slide. The Old slide out of the two is the first. The New slide is the second slide.

The New slide has a lot of properties from the "presentation zen" website. The texts on my Dr. Seuss quote is very large and easy to read. Also, in the first column when using the rule of the thirds is my picture and quote. Then, the second column contains the words "Dermatology is my life". That is also bold and large. That phrase is very simple and is self-explanatory. Finally, the third column had all of the dermatology products that I use.

I noticed that the pictures in my slide were too close to each other. So I made my pictures smaller and farther away. I also made my text farther away from the pictures. In my new slide the pictures are reflecting off the text in middle of the slide. The reason I changed the size of the pictures and text is because the slide was to cluttered.

Hopefully the new governor and the mayor will be on the same page so the city can benefit from better education (more money) streets and highway to be repaved because if they are the same page we can get more money. More jobs for people. Decrease in gun violence different laws to stop some of the violence.
